About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern assists the Engineering team with production projects and continuous improvement initiatives, providing hands-on engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. This position is expected to work 20 hours per week from January 11 through April 23, 2027.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university engineering program.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Junior or senior level in an engineering program.
• Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Help develop, improve, and revise manufacturing processes.
• Help design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing.
• Help analyze failures and troubleshoot to improve test yields.
• Support purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained.
• Support cost justification studies and ROI analysis for capital equipment.
• Create and update work instructions.
• Support development of statements of work (SOWs) for equipment implementation and validation.
