About The Position
As an intern, you'll gain invaluable real-world experience by taking on a meaningful project that has a direct impact on the business. You will have the opportunity to present your work to fellow interns, managers, and our senior leadership team. Beyond your project work, our internship program will enhance your professional journey through a variety of experiences. You'll attend weekly Lunch and Learns to gain insights from leaders across departments and participate in Insights Discovery to understand and leverage your strengths and working styles. You'll also build meaningful relationships with peers, mentors, and professionals, and engage in social and volunteer events to expand your network.
Requirements
- Pursuing students pursuing a degree in engineering.
- Experience in Solidworks
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Problem-Solving Experience
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Power Suite experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Functions as a standard Manufacturing Engineer for Dry Vans, managing jig/fixture designs and completing work on smaller project initiatives.
- Overarching project would be directly tied to a major downtime or cost-savings opportunity as identified in the months leading up to intern start date.
