About The Position

This internship focuses on implementing and analyzing manufacturing plans and projects. The intern will be involved in designing, developing, and transferring manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems. Key responsibilities include developing manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes, interfacing with engineering for new product releases, estimating manufacturing costs, determining time standards, and recommending tooling and process requirements. The role also involves maintaining records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations coordination.

Requirements

  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD and/or Pro-E, Six Sigma, technical writing, MS Project and/or MS SharePoint.
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Experience/training with AI tools to be used for systems engineering work, e.g., PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE design
  • Experience/training with process flow mapping, PFEP, production material controls
