About The Position
The Manufacturing Engineer II provides day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing lines at a regulated manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on troubleshooting equipment and processes, improving production performance, and supporting quality and compliance activities. The position is a 24-month contract with possible extension, is full-time at 40 hours per week, and has an immediate start.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical, or related).
- Knowledge of GMP and quality systems, validation, and change control.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated environment, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing lines, including equipment and process troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement improvements to yield, efficiency, and product quality.
- Support nonconformances, investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.
- Author manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Support change controls, equipment qualification, and process validation.
