About The Position

Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. This position is responsible for providing engineering expertise and technical leadership to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical power distribution and instrumentation systems. The E&I Engineer will support capital projects, plant reliability initiatives, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all government, local, site, and corporate regulations and standards.
  • Apply industry standards include NFPA, OSHA, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, NETA, ISA, PIP, and other applicable E&I codes.
  • Provide engineering governance and oversight for electrical and instrumentation capital projects.
  • Review and support capital project execution plans, including IFA and IFC design packages.
  • Provide field support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.
  • Coordinate and support planning of electrical shutdowns during minor and major outages.
  • Lead or support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for electrical, power, and instrumentation system failures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain reliability programs for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation including one-lines, schematics, interconnection diagrams, loop drawings, and instrument data sheets.
  • Ensure documentation of power system testing, protection studies, and transformer oil analysis.
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) process for electrical and instrumentation modifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to I&E technicians and plant personnel.
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineers, I&E Planners, and Supervisors to support plant operations.
  • Provide recommendations on equipment selection and end-of-life replacement strategies.
