This role involves engineering associated with the manufacturing process, impacting the quality of individual and team work. The Manufacturing Engineer executes standard operational/technical tasks, with latitude to rearrange task sequences based on changing work situations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing)
  • Ability to prove U.S. Person status (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee or refugee status) due to access to U.S. export-controlled information

Responsibilities

  • Broaden knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy
  • May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills
  • Develop a basic understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish own work
  • Gain a good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework
  • Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures
  • Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead process improvements
  • Possess an ability to explain technical information to others
