About The Position

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer for a position within the Aeronautics Business Area. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform’s program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production. This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with design engineers and shop floor personnel to support production of our various platforms. A successful candidate can expect to: Participate and contribute in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, take initiative, and have strong work ethic, and have a learning and continuous improvement attitude. This position required a detail-oriented and organized candidate with demonstrated technical proficiency and capability. Strong communication skills – written and verbal – are required to successfully interface with various departments within Aeronautics. Must be a US Citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field experience.
  • Previous experience (or expressed interest) working in an Operations role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to work onsite
