About The Position

This co-op position involves supporting the Engineering and Maintenance department by updating 2D and 3D models, maintaining document control, managing equipment calibrations, and handling drawings and blueprints. The role also provides plant floor assistance with preventative maintenance and problem-solving to sustain current operational environments.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled student working toward a technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related degree.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, database, and graphing software).
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different levels of management and production personnel.
• Self-motivated.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with updating models and drawings with currently implemented processes and documents in the plant.
• Assist in creating new models/drawings as assigned.
• Work with ME and Maintenance departments to meet Engineering and Maintenance requirements, both locally at the plant level and at the Divisional level.
• Work with ME and Maintenance departments/teams to maximize space utilization and optimal plant layout plans and efficiencies.
• Assist with performing some preventative maintenance as outlined on the preventative maintenance schedule.
