About The Position

Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Analyzes design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions. Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule. Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts. Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
  • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies.
  • Experience participating on Integrated Product Teams for technical integration.
  • Experience developing and implementing manufacturing plans.
  • Experience conducting producibility and variation analyses.
  • Experience analyzing design and build concepts for producibility.
  • Experience resolving technical problems affecting performance, cost, or schedule.
  • Experience implementing lean principles and technologies.
