About The Position

Responsible for technical supplier oversight for manufacturing and manufacturing-development projects involving nuclear instrumentation and control (I&C) systems and electrical components. The Manufacturing Engineer consults with NuScale design organizations on manufacturing, specifies and collects product manufacturing requirements—including applicable standards and specifications—and serves as a primary technical contact between design organizations and manufacturing suppliers. The role applies industry expertise, codes and standards, and regulatory guidance to I&C manufacturing and supply-chain development. This is a full-time role that may be performed remotely within the contiguous United States by employees living more than 30 miles from a physical NuScale office. Employees living within that radius must work in-office four days per week. Occasional business travel is required; anticipated travel is 10%–25%, including visits to supplier manufacturing shops. The target annual pay range is $97,440–$117,600, with a full range of $88,000–$136,000. NuScale states that compensation decisions consider job-related skills, full-time work experience, education and training, and departmental equity. Benefits information is available through the company’s Careers Overview page.
