About The Position

This position plays an integral role in operational activities that support the engineering and manufacturing process by providing skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of engineering and manufacturing, while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.

Requirements

• Journeyman license with industrial electronics knowledge required.
• Must have background in mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools.
• Five years of verifiable work experience.
• Ability to read and design electrical prints.
• Ability to meet the shift requirements of the department, routinely scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Ability to read and understand precision meters.
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely.
• Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions, or repair and assembly operations.
• AC and DC controls.
• Programmable controllers, VFD’s, PLC’s and HMI’s.
• Knowledge of all types of electronic components.

Nice To Haves

• Master licenses preferred.
• 2-5 years of general industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to obtain internal forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on equipment and facility.
• Repair electrical/mechanical equipment in timely manner.
• Work with engineering on equipment improvements and projects.
• Design and install electrical control panels including VFD’s, PLC’s, and HMI’s.
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
