About The Position

This position offers an excellent opportunity for engineers with experience in semiconductor manufacturing, device engineering, wafer-level electrical testing, or process engineering to develop technical expertise while driving improvements in product quality, process capability, yield, and manufacturing performance. You will work closely with Technology Development, Process, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to solve complex technical challenges, support new technologies, and develop automated wafer-level electrical test solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret semiconductor electrical and process data.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Initiative-taking with strong ownership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, device engineering, process engineering, wafer acceptance testing (WAT), or related fields.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and wafer fabrication processes.
  • Experience with wafer-level parametric testing, semiconductor characterization, and process monitoring structures.
  • Experience with automated semiconductor test equipment and electrical measurement systems.
  • Programming experience in Python, C/C++, Perl, PHP, MATLAB, JMP Scripting Language (JSL), or similar tools.
  • Experience using JMP, Minitab, or comparable statistical analysis software.
  • Knowledge of SPC, DOE, Process Capability Analysis, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with analog, mixed-signal, power management, discrete, or power semiconductor devices.
  • Experience developing automation, scripting, or data analytics solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify, maintain, and optimize Wafer Acceptance Test (WAT) and device characterization programs using HP4062 and related semiconductor test platforms.
  • Analyze wafer-level parametric data, process control monitor structures, and device electrical characteristics to identify process excursions and yield-impacting issues.
  • Troubleshoot semiconductor device, process, and electrical test-related issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Six Sigma, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics, including yield, process capability (CPK), and electrical performance.
  • Support technology development, process evaluations, product characterization, and new product introduction activities.
  • Develop software tools, automation solutions, and data analysis methods to increase engineering productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality improvements, operational excellence, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports and present engineering findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
