About The Position

Niagara is seeking motivated individuals to join their Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) in Allentown. This 15-month rotational program offers hands-on experience across various functions and departments within a leading beverage manufacturer. Participants will engage in project work and professional development, with the goal of preparing them for leadership roles in people or process management upon graduation. The program includes rotations through Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential for other departments like operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance. A significant part of the program involves acting as a Plant Supervisor for six months to understand the full scope of operational leadership. Relocation after the program is encouraged to broaden career opportunities.

Requirements

  • 0 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment (experience may include a combination of work experience and education)
  • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education)
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Gain first-hand experience across a broad range of functions and departments.
  • Participate in hands-on experience, project work and professional development.
  • Rotate through Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.
  • Potentially rotate through operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance.
  • Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months to understand the scope of the role.
  • Engage leadership and problem-solving skills related to people and technical issues.
  • Work on cost or time-saving projects that are impactful to the plant.
  • Complete cross-departmental projects.
  • Present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership.
  • Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
