About The Position

Niagara is seeking Team Members to join their mission of providing customers with the highest quality, most affordable bottled water. The Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) is a 15-month rotational program designed to provide hands-on experience across various functions and departments within a leading beverage manufacturer. Participants will learn leadership skills through practical experience, project work, and professional development. The program includes 9 months of rotations through plant departments such as Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential rotations in operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance based on availability and interest. For the final 6 months, participants will act as a Plant Supervisor to understand the role's scope and importance, developing leadership and problem-solving skills for future roles. Relocation after the program is encouraged to broaden job opportunities.

Requirements

  • 0 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
  • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects.
  • 1 Year - internship experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or any field.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.
  • Participate in other department rotations such as operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance.
  • Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months to understand the role's scope and importance.
  • Engage leadership and problem-solving skills in people and technical issues.
  • Complete cost or time-saving projects impactful to the plant and Niagara.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and professional development.
  • Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback.
  • Present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership.
  • Work in all aspects of manufacturing and complete cross-departmental projects.
  • Travel to other plant locations for a minimum of 3 weeks.
