About The Position

Niagara Bottling is seeking individuals for its Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) in Cincinnati. This 15-month rotational program offers hands-on experience, project work, and professional development to prepare participants for leadership roles in people or processes within a leading beverage manufacturing company. Participants will gain experience across various plant departments, including Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential rotations in operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance. A significant part of the program involves acting as a Plant Supervisor for six months to understand the role's scope and importance. Relocation after program completion is encouraged to broaden career opportunities. Responsibilities

• Rotate through plant departments for 9 months, including Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential rotations in operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance.
• Work on cost or time-saving projects impactful to the plant and Niagara.
• Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months to understand the role and its importance to plant performance.
• Engage leadership and problem-solving skills in people and technical issues.
• Participate in on-the-job training and professional development.
• Complete formalized professional skills training including Niagara culture, self-awareness, and leadership development.
• Receive ongoing support from Niagara Bottling’s leadership, MDP alumni, and a dedicated advisor.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt training and projects.
• Lead a shift in a manufacturing environment for 6 months.
• Travel for a minimum of 3 weeks to other plant locations.
• Work in all aspects of manufacturing and complete cross-departmental projects.
• Present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership.
• Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback.
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
