About The Position

The Manufacturing Data Analyst will be responsible for verifying and standardizing data within the Plex system, providing training to ensure system accuracy, and collecting, analyzing, and tracking important departmental data. This role involves generating reports, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

More than one year of working experience.
Bachelor's degree and above.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
Familiarity with company's production process and Plex operation.
Familiarity with EXCEL and other office software.
Strong data analysis ability.
Good logic ability.
Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Verify data in Plex, correct and standardize Plex operations, and provide training to guarantee system accuracy.
Collect, analyze, track, and supervise the implementation of important departmental data, including KPI data, weekly and monthly reports, overdue inventory handling, and writing work instructions.
Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple systems (ERP, MES, sensor networks, Plex).
Perform quantitative analysis and build predictive models for production efficiency, material usage, and quality deviations.
Generate automated reports and interactive dashboards for cross-functional teams, highlighting KPIs.
Conduct root cause analysis on production inefficiencies and quality issues, providing actionable insights.
Utilize statistical software for hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and variance analysis.
Apply financial and operational modeling techniques to optimize production scheduling, reduce inventory costs, and improve ROI.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytical frameworks for data accuracy, integrity, and scalability.
Collaborate with production teams and train operators and engineers on data collection, dashboard interpretation, and continuous improvement.
Apply financial modeling techniques to evaluate ROI on capital equipment investments and analyze trade-offs.
Build operational and financial forecasting models integrating manufacturing KPIs with budgeting and cash flow planning.
Ensure accurate barcode-based packing and inventory tracking, integrating logistics data with financial reconciliation systems for COGS reporting.
Support ad hoc financial analysis, including cost-benefit analyses and budgeting impact projections.
