About The Position

The Manufacturing Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing function by partnering closely with the LPM Manufacturing Supervisor and Buyer/Planner. This role is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, tracking production, reconciling inventory, supporting transportation and logistics activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring efficient communication across internal teams and external partners. The Manufacturing Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, transportation, warehousing, purchasing, or an administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external business partners.
  • Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manufacturing forecasts, purchase order placement, confirmations, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the customer order process by coordinating, communicating, and confirming orders throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Dispatch and monitor inbound raw materials to third-party manufacturers and warehouse partners.
  • Track production activities and enter production data into company systems.
  • Reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and track outbound finished goods shipments to distribution centers.
  • Audit invoices and process manufacturing-related paperwork.
  • Maintain departmental reports, performance scorecards, and filing systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, vendors, distribution centers, stores, and internal departments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to store personnel, customers, vendors, distribution center teams, service and district managers, drivers, and corporate partners.
  • Support the Manufacturing Supervisor and department with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
