About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. 3M INDIANAPOLIS is seeking a candidate for the position of Manufacturing Coordinator - Inventory. As An Manufacturing Coordinator - Inventory you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by coordinating and conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory-related processes as required by the business. You will perform on-site cycle counts and physical inventory counts, and assist with physical counts of outsourced inventories. You will also execute virtual transactions for outsourced inventories and partner with site employees to ensure proper counting methods and accurate reporting practices.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
Six (6) months to one (1) year of related work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment in a private, government or military environment.
Must be flexible to work schedules, shifts, overtime, and weekends as required to support business needs.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Experience reviewing and analyzing inventory reports, including variance reports and other inventory-related documentation, with a high degree of accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.
Experience using SAP to support inventory management, production, or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory-related processes as required by the business.
Perform on-site cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
Assist with physical counts of outsourced inventories.
Execute virtual transactions for outsourced inventories.
Partner with site employees to ensure proper counting methods and accurate reporting practices.
Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
