Requirements

  • Dedicated commitment to safe work practices and compliance with safety rules.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Mechanical know-how and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Overtime is an essential job function (work beyond 40 hours as needed).
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician Card (required).

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience.
  • Exposure to PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation is a plus.
  • Ability to confidently interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communicator; organized; able to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair motors, control panels, lighting, power distribution equipment, and machine wiring across the facility.
  • Use appropriate test equipment and methods to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly.
  • Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide safe, effective work.
  • Execute preventive maintenance plans to cut downtime and raise reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and all safety requirements.
  • Keep precise records of repairs, changes, and inspections to support traceability and audits.
  • Assist with bringing new equipment online and support electrical components of facility upgrades.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to electrical designs and processes.
  • Partner with maintenance and production teams to enable smooth plant operations.
  • Adhere to all company safety rules, including LOTO and use of PPE.
  • Provide rapid response to emergencies; overtime and on-call coverage may be required.
