About The Position

Chartwell consultants embed ourselves at client sites Monday – Thursday to work with client teams to deliver step-change improvements in performance. This means spending time on the shop floor rather than just behind a computer, as well as working with people and machines to figure out what the real problems are – and how you’re going to fix them.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Results–oriented individual
Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills
Strong personal initiative and bias for action
Desire to constantly learn new skills
Willingness to travel to client sites Mon – Thurs of each week, and attend meetings in Boston 2 Fridays per month

Responsibilities

Work in manufacturing and travel to manufacturing sites around the country (and potentially the world).
Use technical skills and training to solve problems across a variety of manufacturing industries.
Implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
Embed at client sites Monday – Thursday to work with client teams.
Spend time on the shop floor working with people and machines to identify and fix problems.
