About The Position

As an MFG Compliance Associate, you are responsible for assisting with protecting assets, ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures, verifying assets (firearms), communicating audit findings, and complying with legal requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • South Carolina Driver’s License
  • Basic computer literacy and knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Understand the importance of serialized firearms and the severity of mishandling these items.
  • Basic knowledge of firearms, as well as some knowledge of AR, AK and Glock platform preferred.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality as required.
  • Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, be goal driven and focus on the overall strategic picture of the organization and follow through with tasks assigned.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Reach truck/forklift certified preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of PSA AR and AK related products such as MAGPUL colors and furniture variations
  • Experience with serialized items preferred.
  • ATF compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for physically processing pallets which include boxing, serial number, and SKU verification, pallet wrapping, and pallet transport to appropriate drop-off locations within manufacturing.
  • Frequent use of pallet jacks, bag sealers, and VCI bags.
  • Conducts post pack pallet scans.
  • Responsible for counting non-serialized inventory and verifying physical and systemic NetSuite counts with that inventory.
  • Knows the proper contents for each type of mag bag.
  • Ensure that scanners and computers are placed on their chargers and not left unattended during breaks, lunch periods, and/or at the close of business.
  • Organize and cleans work area throughout shift, and replenishes supplies as needed.
  • Report to work and from all breaks on time.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, possibly subject to extreme heat and cold.
  • Must have reliable transportation and childcare (if applicable).
  • Capable of physically and systemically processing outgoing firearms.
  • Assists with Compliance Specialists regarding the systemic processing of firearms and work order picking.
  • Can cycle count serialized and non-serialized inventory.
  • Eager to learn and/or do multiple jobs on the shift when needed.
  • Capable of communicating with different departments and understanding how manufacturing Compliance fits into the broader manufacturing picture.
  • Must have reliable transportation and childcare (if applicable).
  • All other duties, as assigned.
