As an automation technician, you’ll be part of our team located in Hesston, KS. You’ll get to: Program new weld jobs on robotic weld cells. (Approx. 10%) Make program adjustments to automated fabrication equipment. (Approx. 15%) Develop maintenance programs and perform or oversee preventative maintenance schedules. (Approx. 15%) Troubleshoot problems with programs/equipment. Work closely with maintenance and equipment vendors as needed. (Approx. 15%) Monitor for corrective action top downtime impacts. (Approx. 10%) Perform data driven projects and any other duties as directed by Supervisor. May require some leadership in project management. (Approx. 15%) Monitor machine efficiencies weekly. (Approx. 10%) Nesting jobs for lasers and programming for press brakes.
