About The Position
Westaff is hiring Manufacturing Assembly Associates for a company in Berlin. Associates will be responsible for assembling, machine operating, packaging, labeling, plating, and inspecting product. They will work in a rotating manufacturing environment. This is a temporary job with the possibility of temp to hire.
Requirements
- 1-3 years previous experience in manufacturing setting
- Experience with Assembly, machine operating, or any production/ rotating shift work
- Use a variety of hand tools such as pliers, mallets, and drill presses for padlocks
- Requires a high school or trade school diploma or equivalent manufacturing work experience
Responsibilities
- Assembling product
- Machine Operating
- Plating, deburring, polishing
- Inspecting product
- Operate automatic key cutting, cylinder shell loading and plug loading machines and equipment as required.
- Assemble shells and plugs, pack and label all types of cylinders
- Make necessary adjustments to machinery
- Follow key list/interpret complex orders to determine selection of proper assembly sequence
- Follow safety instructions
- Keep work stations clean and orderly
