About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate assembles automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes. The role follows part procedures and safety requirements, performs quality inspections and leak testing as required, supports the daily production schedule, and helps maintain accurate, reliable machine operation. Associates may also train others in procedures and processes as designated, perform basic repairs and setups, and keep their work area clean and organized in accordance with 5S requirements. This is a second-shift position with regular hours from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 6–12 months of related light manufacturing experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers and handheld scanners.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Leading2Lean.
• Knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Assemble O-rings, clips, shipping plugs, and caps into parts according to part procedures.
• Understand machine functions and operate equipment according to procedures and safety requirements.
• Read and understand job procedures.
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and company policies.
• Conduct leak testing as required by part procedures.
• Inspect parts during production to ensure product quality and completeness.
• Train manufacturing associates in procedures and processes when designated.
• Help attain the daily production schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S requirements.
• Perform and understand processes used to ensure machines are running accurately, such as running duds and using gauges.
• Keep machines running with minimal downtime.
• Perform basic repairs and setup.
