About The Position

Volt is hiring Manufacturing Associates, Machine Operators, Production Operators, and Production Assistants for a growing manufacturing team in Vista, California. Employees may work in production areas such as machine operation, polishing, painting, quality inspection, bead blasting, and general production support. Multiple shifts are available depending on department needs. The stated pay range is $18–$19 per hour, depending on experience and other factors, including education, work experience, work location, job duties, and certifications.

The role involves preparing, processing, and inspecting parts while operating production equipment safely and following work instructions, quality procedures, and safety standards. Duties vary by department.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or a related environment is preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.
• Experience with quality inspections and identifying defects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for quality, appearance, and defects.
• Follow quality control procedures and report issues.
• Prepare parts for production by cleaning, masking, taping, and staging them.
• Paint, polish, finish, and process parts according to work instructions.
• Safely operate production equipment and manufacturing machinery.
• Load and unload parts from machines using pneumatic tools and other equipment.
• Perform bead blasting and other finishing processes.
• Use measuring tools, T-wrenches, hand tools, and Dremel tools as needed.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Accurately record production and inspection data.
• Maintain production standards while following safety procedures.
