About The Position

Steelscape, a leading west-coast manufacturer of coated and painted metal for construction, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate. Steelscape is part of NS BlueScope Coated Products North America (CPNA), a joint venture between BlueScope and Nippon Steel. Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to work rotating shift pattern and overtime as needed.
Successfully complete WorkKeys pre-employment assessment and post offer screenings.
A keen focus on safety and quality.
A desire to learn and be a team player.
An ability to act independently and contribute to improvement ideas.

Nice To Haves

Experience with shipping and material handling.
Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane.
Experience working as a productive team contributor.

Perform duties found in a normal warehouse/production environment.
Stand, walk, lift, carry, use hands to manipulate objects, bend, look, and see.
Push, pull, twist, turn, talk, hear, reach above the shoulder and/or outward, and drive power equipment.
Stoop, squat, type, kneel, and crouch.
Routinely lift to 50 pounds.
