About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate/Warehouse Worker is responsible for assembling custom aerators and managing warehouse inventory. This role involves working with various components, operating equipment, and ensuring the quality and safety of products. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Requirements

  • 1+ Years experience in a Warehouse Environment
  • 1+ Years experience building product
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
  • Forklift certified or willing to become forklift certified

Responsibilities

  • Assemble custom aerators, sub-assemblies, pumps, sound kits, and compressor kits according to work instructions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and individual sales orders.
  • Identify and differentiate various components, including cabinets, pumps, compressors, fans, and hoses, used in aerator construction.
  • Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure the safety and functionality of finished aerators for both customers and aquatic wildlife.
  • Utilize technical understanding to identify and correct potential errors in sales orders before production, preventing costly warranty claims and potential harm to installers.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels of commonly used parts and notify management of low stock.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts.
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, and to organize and stock warehouse shelves.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and report any safety concerns to management.
  • Collaborate daily with the manufacturing supervisor to discuss production opportunities, challenges, and workload.
  • Assist sales representatives in identifying the correct parts for their orders.
  • Proactively identify and correct errors in orders to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
