Responsible for fabrication, supermarket, and assembly operations while managing the efficient flow of materials throughout the plant. This role involves performing assembly operations on window and door components in a manufacturing environment, following designated workstation and assembly area processes. The associate will operate various machinery, production tools, and hand tools to fabricate high quality products and interpret customer requirements based on production paperwork and CAD drawings. Rotation between multiple workstations is expected during each shift to support operational coverage, maintain workflow efficiency, and ensure production continuity. The role also requires showing initiative by seeking additional responsibilities, building knowledge of Andersen’s products, and working collaboratively as part of a team to assist coworkers when needed. Producing high quality work that conforms to company standards and participating in on-the-job training are key aspects of this position. Maintaining consistent and reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependability is crucial for supporting team operations and meeting performance expectations. Issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity must be escalated to supervisors or designated leads in a timely manner.
