Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A minimum of 1 years’ light manufacturing experience required

Responsibilities

  • Operates and/or maintains multiple machines according to all job and safety procedures
  • Obtains daily jobs from Production Board
  • Reads, understands and commits to following all safety procedures when operating the machine
  • Completes proper paperwork verifying part numbers and lot numbers
  • Completes the Production Downtime Sheets documenting machine issues
  • Reads, understands and commits to operating the machine and its functions according to the procedure such as running duds and/or use of gauge
  • Keeps machines running with minimal down-time
  • Inspects parts through each process to ensure quality
  • Enters end of job information into computer daily
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area
  • Trains machine operators as needed
