In this job you will perform a variety of repetitive sub-assembly and/or assembly operations of basic complexity. As a Manufacturing Associate I you will prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. You will also position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements, and assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies. This role also involves assisting in the building of prototypes and/or other basic assembly projects outside of normal production as needed, maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and conserving resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. You will contribute to team effort by training others in the performance of basic assembly tasks as needed, inspecting all work and ensuring it meets requirements before passing it on to the next operation, and documenting actions by completing production and quality forms. Additionally, you will assist in training new hires or current internal employees who have been newly assigned to this role.
