Working at our Beavercreek Site GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 75 years! Our Beavercreek facility on Research Blvd. manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. Our location on Heller drive manufactures turbine airfoils and has a focus on next generation technology. We have been awarded OSHAS’s highest safety rating. Role Overview – Cell Specialist In this role, you will support production processes by following written instructions, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and operating a variety of tools and equipment to produce high‑quality parts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • At least 6 months of experience using basic hand tools (for example: minor home or car repair, woodworking, shop class, or similar hands‑on work)
  • Prior experience safely utilizing hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, or similar tools in a work, school, or structured training environment
  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Responsibilities

  • Operating production tools and equipment, such as grinders, gas torches, hot plates, irons, hand gauges, and special‑purpose machines (for example: shot peen, seam welders, cut‑off saws, wax injection equipment)
  • Adjusting machine and equipment controls to maintain proper settings, and changing worn cutting tools using hand tools (such as wrenches)
  • Working with metal components, including trimming, cutting, polishing, and deburring material to meet specifications
  • Moving materials and parts using a forklift and/or tugger, and supporting material flow in areas such as shipping and receiving
  • Transferring between different machines, equipment, and work areas as production needs change, and performing miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisory personnel
  • Assist in other areas as needed and directed by People Leader
