About The Position

We are looking for a Manufacturing Associate – Assembler to join our Base Tube Assembly (BTA) team at Bluefors in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will support the assembly and quality of Cryomech Base Tube Assemblies, contributing to the production of precision cryogenic components used in cutting-edge technologies. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on manufacturing skills while working in a collaborative, high-quality production environment that supports innovation across industries.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work with tools and production equipment safely and effectively
  • Basic documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Dependability and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting
  • Commitment to safety and following established procedures
  • Ability to align with company Leadership Principles and workplace competencies
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Assemble BTA components in accordance with documented procedures and specifications
  • Operate and maintain tooling and production equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work meets established quality standards and requirements
  • Complete and maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Demonstrate understanding of operational procedures and meet quality expectations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Adhere to documented procedures and ISO quality system requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
