About The Position

BLOX is seeking a hands-on, driven Assistant Line Manager to support night-shift manufacturing operations. The role leads production teams, manages materials and processes, and promotes efficiency across multiple production lines. It is responsible for helping deliver high-quality output, meet production goals, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment. The position supports production management and daily operations, coordinates material flow and assembly processes, monitors quality and performance, and resolves issues on the production floor. It also works across engineering, supply chain, project management, and field teams to plan and follow up on production activities and support operational goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
3–7 years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Hands-on leadership style and ability to lead by example.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Must be available to work night-shift hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.

Experience in construction or modular manufacturing environments.
Experience managing low-volume, high-mix production processes.
Experience managing material flow and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

Support management of production teams, including supervisors and line employees.
Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and schedule adherence.
Manage material flow, assembly processes, and production line coordination.
Monitor products to ensure they meet design and quality standards.
Track and report production performance metrics, including quality, safety, and productivity.
Identify and resolve production issues in real time.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
Provide technical support and problem-solving on the production floor.
Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing team environment.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, project management, and field teams.
Assist in planning, executing, and following up on production activities.
Support development and adherence to budgets and operational goals.
