About The Position

At PSS Cross Country Infrastructure Solutions, every team member plays a critical role in delivering the products, equipment, and expertise that keep America’s infrastructure projects moving forward. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing and warehouse operations within the Syntex Division. This role plays a key part in shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling to ensure products are processed accurately, efficiently, and delivered on time to branches and customers. This position collaborates closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Branch teams to support production and distribution activities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (e.g., Social Security card, passport, or other acceptable I‐9 documents)
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping and inventory systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize company shipping systems and portals to prepare and ship products to branch locations
  • Verify shipping documentation and ensure orders are shipped to the correct destination
  • Receive incoming materials and products and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and documentation
  • Restock raw materials and production supplies as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Put away incoming products and materials in designated storage locations
  • Assist in identifying inventory discrepancies and support resolution efforts
  • Support the flow of value-added assemblies (VAs) through the manufacturing process
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure products move efficiently through production stages
  • Communicate material shortages, production needs, and workflow concerns to management
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment
  • Support manufacturing and warehouse operations as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures
  • Properly handle materials, equipment, and inventory to prevent damage or loss
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase operational efficiency and organization
