The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for process monitoring and optimization, quality control, documentation and reporting, equipment maintenance, training and support, continuance improvement and compliance and safety. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Beckman Coulter, Life Sciences Flow Cytometry Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

• Associates Degree with skilled trades, biomedical, laboratory or other skills
• 1+ year experience
• Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with MS office products, Microsoft Excel, email
• Will be traveling to Miami, FL to train for at least the first 15 to 20 weeks with expenses paid
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Using material handling equipment including hoists, hoist inspections to move parts and skids, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, walking

• Previous laboratory technician experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment
