About The Position

Through the direction of the Supervisor or Lead Person, this individual is responsible for properly performing the match operation required for proper assembly. This role involves working with blueprints, assembling standard and higher precision products, and utilizing various measuring devices. The position requires good manual dexterity, steady hands, and the ability to work in a clean room environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read/write/speak English.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment, including wearing full clean room garments for extended periods.
  • Good manual dexterity and steady hands for handling sensitive components.

Responsibilities

  • Properly perform the match operation required for proper assembly.
  • Obtain relevant information from a blueprint.
  • Match and assemble standard product on matching bench.
  • Use skill and judgment in selecting correct sizes (inners, outers, balls).
  • Match and assemble higher precision products in the clean room.
  • Perform additional duties in the clean room such as set ups, weighted greasing, oiling, plating, noise testing, and vacuum bagging.
  • Diagnose/troubleshoot and make corrections/adjustments/repairs to mechanical equipment.
  • Use various measuring devices to accurately maintain proper sizes and tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot gaging issues on higher precision production equipment.
  • Perform other assembly duties when needed, including operating assembly equipment.
  • Grease, cap, seal, bag, and pack products.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Move material, products, or components to and/or from other production areas.
  • Minimize scrap and rework.
  • Quickly identify issues that may prohibit production and report them to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Keep all work areas clean and neat.
  • Perform simple, routine preventive maintenance of equipment.
