About The Position

Vantage MedTech provides comprehensive design and manufacturing services, supporting the advancement of medical technologies from concept through to product realization. We develop and manufacture new products for the treatment of heart failure, cancer, stroke, Gene Therapy, COPD, TBI, Atrial Fibrillation, Blood Clots, Brain Surgery, and many more! This engagement is for an independent contractor (1099) providing services to Vantage MedTech for an anticipated period of 6-12 months, with potential for extension based on business needs. Contractors are not employees of Vantage MedTech and are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and internet navigation.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and subassemblies by hand using basic hand tools such as torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
  • Adhere to detailed work instructions to ensure accuracy throughout the assembly process.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist in packing and labeling finished goods for shipping.
  • Accurately perform transactions in the ERP System to capture the required production data and report any non-conformities to higher-level technicians or engineers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to documented processes to ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and Quality System Regulations, ISO Standards, and other requirements as defined by company objectives.
