About The Position

The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling products and components in accordance with established procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an on-site hourly position, and the regular workweek is 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and additional hours as required by business needs. RectorSeal manufactures and/or distributes a variety of mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. For over 80 years, RectorSeal’s customers have depended on us for quality products with excellent value, shipped to them in a timely manner. This passion for excellent customer service is the reason RectorSeal has been growing at a very fast pace and now requires additional shift capacity to meet customer demand.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand work instructions, diagrams, and basic measurements
• Manual dexterity and the ability to handle small parts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 25 lbs
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, parts, or components according to work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and efficiently
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Report defective parts or materials to supervisors immediately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Meet daily production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment as needed
