About The Position

Assembles products and sub-assemblies to meet or exceed customer expectations in a safe and effective manner. The role follows production schedules and standard procedures in an assigned work cell and uses tools to support continuous improvement. Employees must follow safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations. The position is on second shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with possible overtime.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least 6 months of assembly experience is preferred.
• Goal-oriented with a high degree of enthusiasm.
• High efficiency, productivity, and flexibility are necessary.
• Must be able to perform job rotations and cross-training and meet the physical demands of all jobs on the line.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience.

Responsibilities

• Read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies.
• Use a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations while assembling.
• Produce according to schedule using standard procedures in a safe and effective manner in an assigned work cell.
• Utilize C-4 and other tools to foster continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in job rotations and cross-training and perform the physical demands of jobs on the line.
