About The Position

REI is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support our Industrial Media Solutions (IMS) division. The primary responsibility of the QA Analyst will be reviewing, analyzing, and documenting product quality information and coordinating investigations and resolutions of product quality issues. This position will be on-site, full-time in our Lawrenceville campus.

  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and communication materials
  • Responding to semi-routine inquiries about test data, causes of defects, and test findings

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and report on quality trends, process capabilities and quality deficiencies to production, engineering, and support areas while recommending appropriate resolution activities.
  • Audit documentation and reviews quality data to ensure finished production complies with quality standards prior to shipment. Implements recommended preventive or corrective actions to maintain compliance with quality standards.
  • Oversee the defect management process (NCRs), including assignments of defects for resolution.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions, tests solution effectiveness, and provides feedback on results.
  • Assist in PDCA investigations for customer, vendor, and internal problem-resolution. Serve as point-of-contact for external customer and vendor inquiries.
  • Participates in internal quality system and process evaluations to identify compliance issues and areas for corrective/preventive action. Follow up to assess the proper identification of the problem cause and implementation of effective countermeasures.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, and communication materials. Responds to semi-routine inquiries about the test data, causes of defects, and test findings.
