About The Position

We are seeking a Manual QA professional to join our team. This role involves collaborating with engineers on feature bring-up, handling ad-hoc requests, developing test strategies, and executing test cases. You will be responsible for bug review, triage, reporting, and maintaining test cases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with various testing tools and bug-tracking software, and the ability to derive root causes of bugs from logs.

Requirements

Willingness to work on-site daily.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional interactions.
Experience with test tools used for debugging or investigation, such as Visual Studio, gdb, Android Studio, or adb.
Competency with command line tools.
Experience with commonly used bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.
Manual Testing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on feature bring-up with engineers.
Handle ad-hoc requests from other teams.
Develop test strategies and test plans for new products and features.
Author test cases and create or assign test runs.
Perform bug review, de-duplication, and triage.
Provide test status reporting.
Maintain test cases by adding new cases to established areas and editing existing cases for accuracy.
Review bug reports submitted by other team members.
Perform targeted ad-hoc testing of undocumented areas.
Execute test cases.
Investigate and report software and hardware bugs.
Verify bug fixes.
Create clear and concise reports.
Review logs to derive the root cause of bugs.
