About The Position

Basic Function: Machine components to print specifications using manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses etc.

Essential Duties:

1. Read and interpret blue prints and follow various work instructions.
2. Set-up and operate various manual machine tools (lathe,mill, grinder etc.)
3. Proficient using measuring instruments and gages.
4. Proficient using various hand tools.
5. Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in
employee involvement activities and problem solving.
6. Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.

Other Duties: Maintain clean, efficient work area. Ability to work well with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work well with fellow employees
• Ability to work well with minimum supervision
• Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools
• Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection
