About The Position

We’re hiring skilled Manual Machinists to join our team, where we build specialized industrial equipment and advanced production solutions used across the marine and fluid movement industries. In this role, you will take ownership of the machining process, operating and maintaining primarily manual mills, lathes, and other machinery, utilizing your mechanical aptitude to perform independent setups, read complex blueprints, and inspect parts to exact tolerances. Requirements

3–5 years of related manufacturing experience.
Advanced knowledge of both manual mills and lathes
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and comprehend machine tolerances.
High mechanical aptitude with the ability to effectively use precision gauges and measurement tools.
Strong ability to multi-task and maintain excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced precision environment.
High school degree or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate manual mills, lathes, and other machinery to produce parts with precision and consistency
Read and analyze blueprints, instructional drawings, and specifications to ensure products are sized and machined correctly.
Prepare machines for operation by loading necessary tools, fixtures, and materials, and setting machine parameters
Inspect finished parts for defects and verify strict dimensional tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating components, replacing worn tooling, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and proactively maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for yourself and others.
