About The Position

This role involves performing various machining processes safely and accurately, with a focus on valve repair. The machinist will be responsible for operating a range of machinery and maintaining knowledge of digital read-outs. The duties may evolve based on management discretion and business needs.

High School or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years in the valve repair industry

Responsibilities

Safely and accurately perform machining processes.
Maintain knowledge of digital read-outs (DRO).
Machine nozzles and discs including polishing using the lathe in the shop and the field.
Machine broken studs on small bodies using the drill press.
Hone internal bores.
Use magnetic drill for stud removal.
Use drill press or pneumatic tools for disking seats.
Machine flanges (raised-face, RTJ ring joint, Grayloc, lens-ring, etc.).
Machine seats and trim (gate, globe, and check valves).
Machine gear operator segments.
Operate milling machine, VTL, drill press, surface grinder, horizontal mill, manual lathes, honing tools, band and cut-off saw, and Lap Master.
