About The Position

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manual Machinist for their Bentleyville Facility in Charleroi, PA. This is a full-time, direct hire position on the 1st Shift (5am - 130pm). The Manual Machinist performs a variety of duties including drilling and tapping of castings. Requirements

• Good working knowledge of manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills.
• 3+ years’ experience Manual Machining.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally with hoist to be used on objects over 40 pounds.
• Standing is required in periods of up to three hours at a time.
• Would be required to lift objects off pallets.
• Must be able to work with hand tools, screws and gauges, as well as operating buttons on controls.
• Must be capable of clear communication between co-workers and supervisor.
• Capable of carrying 40 pounds for a distance of up to 25 feet.
• Proficient in Troubleshooting Skills.
• Proficient in Tape Measure Reading.
• Proficient in Precision Measurement & Hand Metrology.
• Proficient in Manual Machining Skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of inventory processes.
• Process driven and systematic in their approach to completing their work.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.
• Ability to pass certification for Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
