About The Position

This role involves safely and accurately utilizing manual machining equipment to repair, fabricate, and manufacture typical industrial process components. These components include, but are not limited to, shafts, shaft sleeves, mechanical seal components, bushings, bearing housing sleeves, and wear rings. The specific duties and responsibilities may be adjusted based on management discretion, business needs, customer demands, or other industry-related circumstances.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of direct, hands-on experience with manual machining equipment in an industrial machine shop environment

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately utilize manual machining equipment to repair/fabricate/manufacture typical industrial process components including shafts, shaft sleeves, mechanical seal components, bushings, bearing housing sleeves, wear rings, etc.
• Operate manual lathe, milling machine, drill press, vertical turret lathe, key seater, and manual shaft straightener.
