About The Position

The Manifester is responsible for accurately scanning, documenting, labeling, and verifying pallets to support efficient production, shipping, inventory, and recordkeeping processes. This role helps ensure proper case counts; weights, dates, destination information, and pallet documentation are captured accurately and completed within established time frames. The Manifester plays an important role in supporting product traceability, shipment accuracy, inventory control, and smooth production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and poultry production environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Jack operator license required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekends, as required.
  • Ability to accurately scan, document, label, and verify pallet information.
  • Ability to complete paperwork and record keeping accurately and within required time frames.
  • Ability to take initiative and proactively resolve issues independently when discovered.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, instructions, and company procedures.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, food processing, or poultry processing environment.
  • Experience using scanning equipment, pallet labeling systems, or inventory documentation processes.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack or similar material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Scan pallets to accurately capture proper case counts, weights, and dates.
  • Document numbers, codes, and other required information for each pallet.
  • Create pallet labels when applicable.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and within established time frames.
  • Complete recordkeeping requirements in accordance with company procedures.
  • Verify pallets and labels are accurate before the product is moved or shipped.
  • Ensure pallets are sent to the correct destination.
  • Operate pallet jacks or related equipment as required and authorized.
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, shipping, and other team members to support accurate product movement.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies, labeling concerns, or documentation issues.
  • Follow all safety rules, instructions, and company procedures.
  • Take initiative to proactively resolve issues independently when discovered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
