This hands-on software development position requires direct professional experience with Manhattan SCALE 2016 WMS. The engineer will develop, customize, maintain, troubleshoot, and support applications and functionality in the WMS environment, using advanced Microsoft SQL Server development and application programming skills. The role also requires a practical understanding of warehouse operations, material handling equipment, and distribution center workflows, including how software affects physical inventory movement. This is not a database administration, reporting, or functional WMS analyst position. Periodic visits to the distribution center in Lithia Springs, Georgia are needed. The engineer will support WMS customizations, interfaces, integrations, enhancements, and application issues; investigate root causes and deliver sustainable technical solutions; and work with IT, distribution center leadership, operations teams, and cross-functional partners. The position also focuses on improving system performance, reliability, data integrity, operational efficiency, and warehouse workflows through technical development, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support.
