About The Position

Stratford School, part of Spring Education Group, is seeking a Mandarin Substitute Teacher for a long-term assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of K-8 students, implement diverse teaching methods, and ensure the smooth operation of the classroom. The focus will be on Mandarin vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The ideal candidate will be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to K-8 students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Two years of prior classroom experience in an K-8 setting
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Cover classroom duties as needed
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
