The Managing Solution Train Engineer is accountable for coaching a team of practitioners, building and evolving Scaled Agile capabilities, and advising on work to ensure solutions are sound and follow Agile methodology. This role responds to inquiries from stakeholders at all levels, provides team leadership, training, coaching, development, succession, recruitment, and resource management. The individual will assess current skills within the Agile practice, identify steps for improvement, and be responsible for hiring, growing, and retaining talent. They will act as an expert, innovator, and culture change agent for the Agile practice among business, journey, and platform leaders. The role involves working closely with business leaders to develop product roadmaps, advising on strategic ceremonies, and managing change execution risks. Adherence to enterprise governance, monitoring delivery execution health, and developing innovative approaches to resolve delivery problems are key responsibilities. The position also involves protecting organizational interests by managing risks and staying abreast of emerging issues and regulatory requirements. A culture of risk management and control is essential, ensuring employees are knowledgeable and comply with conduct codes. The role aims to improve delivery predictability and business outcomes using Agile principles.
